I’ve always loved working with chunky yarn. There’s something incredibly satisfying about taking a few soft skeins and turning them into something completely your own. Over the years, I’ve made everything from cozy blankets to stuffed animals, and I’m still amazed by how many different things you can create with it.
One thing I didn’t love was how expensive good chunky yarn could be. I wanted yarn that was soft, plush and beautiful to work with, without feeling like every project had to cost a small fortune. So I started looking for a better option.
That search eventually led me to a supplier and yarn that I genuinely enjoy working with. Lainey & Loom grew from the idea that if I loved creating with it, maybe other makers would too. I wanted to make quality chunky yarn more accessible and share some of the creativity that comes along with it.
This little shop is a place for the yarn, patterns, ideas and projects that inspire me. I’m excited to see what everyone else creates with them too.
